Hillarious Outtakes- I Heart Faces Submission Week 9

For this weeks submission I've picked my favorite outtakes from a wedding I shot last September. I had a total blast capturing the memories.

Love this one! Susee and Tristan were so much fun. He was leaning on the pole and lost his footing and I managed to catch Susee's over the top reaction.

A few seconds later- They are both laughing their heads off.

There's something so Matrix-esque about the two in the background.

Obviously, the shutter speed was way too slow...but I love the crazy looks on everybody's faces!

Hands On Fun- I Heart Faces Week 8 Submission

When I saw that this weeks topic was "Hands On Fun" I immediately thought of this shot. In January my Grandma was comparing hands with Aislynn (my second cousin...one of her many great grandkids). I was struck by the contrast between grandmas hands (89 years old, roughened by a childhood on helping on the farm) and Aislynns still youthful and plump.

We ♥ Kisses Submission

This is Tristan and Susee...just minutes after their wedding.
The day started with threatening dark clouds but just before the ceremony started the sun broke through.
It was absolutely breathtaking.

I ♥ Faces Submission: Week 3- We Are Family

I was exploring Downtown Seattle with my dear friend Chandra and her girls when we stumbled upon a spot with the most beautiful light (Freeway Park). So we stopped for an impromptu photo shoot. I even got a smile out of her 13 year old (who's going through her emo phase and tries not to smile...it ruined her emo cred :-) ).

The Wedding

The rings...one of my favorite shots. I rifled through the room we were shooting in and this verse was already highlighted. I love the fact that you can read, "Always protects, always trusts, always perseveres." Because that just sums it up.

45 mm, ISO 100, f 5.3, 1/40 sec.

The bridesmaids. Aren't they gorgeous?

42 mm, ISO 100, f 4.2, 1/30 sec.

Susee puts on her garter. The lighting was so dreamy.

18 mm, ISO 100, f 9, 1/20 sec.

I love how excited Susee looks. Not surprising- at this moment she's been married for 5 minutes.

40 mm, ISO 100, f 6.3, 1/160 sec.

The shoes. Susee was so proud of these. They were so cute that I took a ton of pictures of them :-)
